What is Tino?

One app for Mac where you make films and decks with a collaborator, also called Tino. You talk it through, and Tino makes the first version right in the conversation. When you want your hands on it, you step into a studio with a real timeline or real layouts.

Is it really free?

Yes. During launch, Tino costs nothing to download, use or export. Your Claude usage runs through your own API key.

Will it stay free?

Launch is free. If that changes, we’ll say so clearly and early, and everything you’ve made stays yours.

Which Claude do I need?

You need an Anthropic API key from the Anthropic Console. Anthropic bills the key for what Tino uses.

Is Tino made by Anthropic?

No. Tino is an independent app that uses Claude.

What stays on my Mac, and what goes to Claude?

Your projects, sources, brand kits and conversations stay on your Mac, in your Library. To do a task, Tino sends Claude what that task needs: your words, the parts of the project in play, and the frames or slides it renders to check its work. Your voice is transcribed on your Mac, and only the words are sent. Tino opens only the web pages you give it.

Where do my projects live?

In your Library: a Tino folder in Documents on your Mac. Open it in Finder any time. If your Documents sync through iCloud Drive, so does your Library. Exports go wherever you save them.

What can I export?

Films up to 4K, as MP4 movies. Decks as PDF.

Can my team share a Library?

Not yet. Shared volumes are coming, with three simple roles: Owner, Editor and Viewer. Today your Library works across your own Macs through iCloud Drive or any synced folder.

When are Music, Vector and 3D coming?

When they’re ready. They’ll arrive inside Tino, as studios, with no separate download. Choose Notify me on the Music, Vector or 3D page and we’ll tell you.

Which Macs does it run on?

Macs with Apple silicon, on macOS 13 or later.

Can I undo what Tino does?

Yes. Every change Tino makes is marked until you keep it, and every change, yours or Tino’s, is its own step in History.

Do I have to talk to it?

No. Type, speak, or step inside and edit by hand.

Are the example films real?

Yes. Each is a real Movie project. Most play live on this site, on the studio’s own engine. The brands, people and places in them are invented.
